I would say it's probably a rosetta tux, I don't think I have golden ranges. But my rosetta hens are with a golden roo, so maybe it could be?

How far are you from me? I have over 40 2-week-old babies here right now.

I'm going to take him/her to live with Amazondoc's babies. I have to meet her tomorrow for some project cochins(yay!). I will hatch some eggs in the spring when we're all set up. Button quail too- I love those little guys!

If you want some button eggs I have more than I can even imagine! If you wanted you could have them if you'd pay the shipping. As many as my ladies would lay. I have a large number of them so it could be a lot. Not sure what color genes you are looking for (not that they breed true anyways) but I have normals, red breasted, silvers, silver red breasted, ivory, white, cinnamon, blue faced, BF cinnamons, pied variants, splash variants, etc etc.

I can't say I've ever seen any but the ones that look like hedgehogs- mostly brown. They were so cute! I'll keep your info in case I get a brooder cleared out for them. Since I didn't get a hatch, I moved my big chicks into a mid-sized coop, and put the chicks in the big brooder that I was going to use for the quail (temporarily). Maybe in a few weeks? I need to research their care more too.​

Well let me know if you do and I'll tell you how they are laying. I hate to hear stories about people buying eggs and none hatching. It's heartbreaking to wait 2.5 weeks for nothing. I could send you pictures of my flock then you could decide if my flock is where you'd like to start out or not. Just let me know when you are back in business. I don't sell eggs or do anything with them anymore. I had someone who used them for feeding monitor lizards but now I just have 100's everywhere... well so it seems.
