We are down to one lonely Runner duck after something got his buddy

The problem now is that 'lil Toot is alone heading into winter. Do we stay at just him and get new ducklings in the spring? If we order new ducklings now, they will be ready to go outside in the dead of winter...that doesn't seem good either? I was also thinking we could try and bring him inside for the winter, with us. We live in Virginia and it is already down in the 30's at night!!! Thanks for any advice you have

This time of year you can often find people reducing their flock size. I would check Craigslist and see if you can find a duck that is already feathered out.

I got my first three ducks in Winter for FREE.
