Hi I had two ducks and the one sadly passed away, now my male duck is sad and seems to be looking for his mate. I don't know where I can find adult ducks in NJ near me. When I went online all I can find are ducklings which I don't think would work in this situation, but I don't know. Are there any places that you can think of?

I found a farm that has 8-11 week old ducklings. Would I be able to bond then to my year old duck?

You'll have to keep your ducklings separated from your drake until laying age. Drakes can be so hormonal they will try to mate with anything even young ducklings. But you could set up a pen right next to your drakes pen so they could live side by side. till time to let them live together. They'd have to have secure house too.

ok how old are rouens when they start to lay

Now I am definitely getting the two pekins since it seems like a better fit. I would really appreciate any bonding/introducing tips.

Keep them separated for a few days with fencing to give the girls a chance to get comfortable then let them be together while you toss some treats out for them. They should do fine together. Although the drake maybe randy but that is normal for this time of year.
