Greetings,

I am new to the forum and hoping someone can give me some advise. I had two white Chinese geese and one suddenly died a few days ago. It's sister has been mourning the passing of it's litter mate and I'm wondering if I should replace the one that died, or will the single goose be ok by herself. She does have a single male guinea that follows her around.

Sorry for you loss :( As is for all birds and animals in general, they do best with a companion from their own species.

I'm sorry for your loss. Geese prefer to have at least one other of their own kind to pal around with. A guinea isn't the same as having another goose, as they both speak different 'languages'. So I would recommend getting your goose another goose friend for sure. She'll be much happier!
