Lonely goose

So my goose is lonely because I had put down her friend down because hurt badly. I was just wondering what should I do for lonely goose. I am waiting for tractor supply goosling in stock or trying look around right know but can’t find anything yet. what should I’d do for it. I bring it in at night and sleeps in is pen also in morning it goes outside all day. What toys should I give it? I have two stuff animals but I feel like I need do more for my poor goose. Also it has a big pool it can swim in. It looks so lonely. I hangout with it but past few day I haven’t been hangout much been so busy and just been leaving it outside. It hang out by itself under area of bushes. I have chicken that also hangout under bush but there little butthead hens because mean eachother and try peck the goose. So goose stays only area under the bushes.

You could try Craigslist for geese or goslings.

Some hatcheries will ship goslings, although they are pricey and there's usually a minimum of at least two.

I would hope that she would happily accept a gosling friend, but it might be better if you could find a goose that's closer to her in age and size, if possible. I once got some chicks as friends for a lonely hen. My girl hated them.

I am sorry about your other goose, and I know it's painful to see your girl all alone. I believe (foolishly, maybe) that she is grieving the loss of her companion and it may take a while for her to work through that. My two geese are inseparable and I dread the day that something happens to either one.
