Lonely injured chicken what should I do?

So I recently got a barred rock off Facebook. The chicken has some kind of hip or leg problem so she was sepereated. She slowly gets around but is healthy and lays plenty of eggs. She seems lonely but don’t know if I should get her a friend? I thought about getting another chicken but not sure if the new chicken would kill the injured chicken. I also thought about getting a duck but heard that they won’t bond. What should I do?

It's a matter if she will injure the newbie too. You could get her a friend, a docile breed about her size, put it in a cage with food/water next to her. Give them time to get used to each other before attempting a visit out of the cage. It's also advised to quarantine the newbie before any introduction, to observe health.

OMG! Today our Chicken Becky just started running! She’s seems perfectly normal now and can even walK fine! Is it possible that her leg was dislocated and was popped back into place? This was not gradual it just all of a suddenly happened.
