Lonely peachick

My uncles peahen abandoned her eggs 3 days before they were suppose to hatch. 2 broke by accident and I managed to put one in incubator and hatched. Now this lonely chick having a hard time. It will not eat on its own. It will only eat from my hand.
Anyone experience this? It makes sounds all night wants to be fed.

Unlike chickens they need to be taught how to eat, you need to take your finger and 'peck' at the food and water to show them what to do, maybe even take their head and do some forced pecking towards to food/water so they understand... And being a lone chick he/she probably will chirp a lot for attention, some people put in small stuff animals to keep them company...

Also make sure the temps are good in your brooder, if it's too chilly they will chirp for warmth, peas seem to never get enough of the 100° temps when they are young..,
