Lonely quails?

I’ve just lost one more quail, my strong tuxedo female. She pushed through a fractured leg for a long time and she’s gone and I’m devastated. I’m now down from five to two - one laying female coturnix and one little male button quail. It’s too sad to see them go, I get attached.
Am I better off having someone else adopt the remaining two than leaving them on their own? I can’t add anymore, I can’t go through more pain!

Quail are social, so they do need companions. If you can find someone to take them in, they will probably be happier.
