Lonely turkey keeps escaping

Hi everyone!
I need some advice please: Our Tom died unexpectedly, and now my hen keeps flying over the fence and wandering the streets 2-3 times a day we have to go track her down. I've clipped her wings back as far as I can, and I don't know what to do to keep her here. It was just the 2 of them and some chickens. I do have some poults but they're really young and she didn't hatch them so no attachment. Ideas?!? Would another adult Tom even help? The last thing I want is to get another bird that leaves the yard. Thanks in advance!

I would suggest you cover the top of your run, she's searching for her Tom. Turkeys are stubborn and can take a while before they drop an idea they get in their heads, they also get attached to one another and don't like to be parted. Eventually she will stop looking. A new Tom probably won't help. Eventually you will integrate your poults which will give her company again.

Thank you... No run, unfortunately. They're free range. I'll try to figure something out though.
