I have a salmon faverolle chick who is about 9 weeks .I noticed that some times she wonders away from the flock which is the same age group.when all the chickens are sleeping in the front she goes to the back and just hangs out alone. On her beard they appears to be some sort of dirt.when she sits alone her crop is empty. This morning I was worried So I picked her up but her crop was full and keep in mind this was at 6:30. 152EF9F5-0501-4B83-93F2-D11E5AD83682.jpeg

I am wondering what is going on with her?

Sounds like her crop is not emptying.
Could be impacted or sour crop.
Is the crop hard or watery?

I would isolated her in a crate and feed her crumble feed soaked in coconut oil.

If it's a crop issue then I'm not sure how to help, but I did have the same thing with one of my young girls. (Hanging by herself, last one out of the coop) I noticed this some, but one day she was unable to stand well and that's what really got me thinking.

I've come to the conclusion that in her case, she was at the bottom of the pecking order and they weren't letting her eat.
She has since been moved to my silkie pen where she is treated with kindness :)

I hope whatever it is, you're able to nurse her back to health!
