Loner chicken with red eyes

So I’m fairly new to chickens. We have had them about a year so far with good success. We have 12 birds. One over the past few days has begun staying to itself not going inside the house at night on its own. Today we noticed it’s eyes are red and it is not reacting to anything that it normally would. Other than that it seems to be fine. Any thoughts?
