I wear basically anything that comes to hand when I'm at home. I look like I just rolled out of bed: coats without zips, yes, socks with flipflops, crocs with trackies...

There hasn't been much weather around here for a long time. Just a whole load of overcast, a small breeze.... that's all. Although today they are landing on rwy 05, so something interesting's happening.

I love storms, it was just very strange how quick it hit.

You should see what they call showers down here: one minute the sun is shining, all is fine, and the next you're wondering where your hat's gone and why your clothes are soaked.

It's beginning to get warmer down here. Winter seems to last for a grand total of three weeks

Our vegetation amounts to a few clumps of grass that will die when spring comes, and a number of crumbling old fruit trees
