When are you sending me more fishie stuff?

I would think if you get fishy such as the neon tetra's if you got the ones in a clean tank tht are active they should be less likely to be diseased.

Hmm. I might get some then. I'm afraid to make him sick still..

I know that I'll be getting a Betta from the place (possibly) where Monty came from or some other trusted place that Becca says I can get one from.

my lil ones seem disease free they are active not sluggish they act like they should act

those are the ones u look for, and if there is a dead on in the tank, dont buy any.. wait a few weeks and go back and see if its improved.

That i "know" of.. or Glow light tetra's they are even more peaceful than neon's apparently.. there are 2 neon colours.. blue neons and green neon's

guppies aren't good as they are nippers and their bright coloured fins may cause the betta to be aggressive towards them

So should I only get like, one or two? If I have a ten gallon tank.. how many could I get and all of them still be happy and not crowded?

Sorry for all the silly questions. Lol

Tetra's are a schooling fish so to be happy they need to be in atleast groups of 5

one or 2 tend to not thrive as there aren't enough to school with, and when there are atleast 5 their colours are more vibrant

many people who own tropical fish use Neon tetra's as community tank fish because they are peaceful and look nice in the tank.

i think the rule of thumb is 1 gallon per 1 inch of adult tropical fish.
