Drinkies... you should get on your own. General restaurant rules. So have a few dollar bills on you for the purpose... and if their not busy at all, you could ask for change for larger bills for the future.

I always grabbed myself a drink as soon as I walked in the door.. in a minute early for that purpose

If its a busy night, and there aren't convenient lulls in the orders... I grabbed my drink whenever I washed my hands. Drinks usually have rules attached about keeping them out of sight of customers, and not drinking where a customer can see you... so we often would stash our drinks in the vacinity of the sink area. Whenever I had a reason to wash my hands, I would grab a glug or two of drink real fast and then wash my hands.

Hint hint! Hand washing is a good excuse!

Between the phone and the make line is always a good time too. Talking is exaughsting. Especially at the speed I always went.

I could give you the Dominos litany anytime you like, LOL. No customer on earth was faser than me! I don't think they appreciated being forced to the next step very much though. But when you have to get off the phone, you have to get off.

Ooops! I forgot to add...

When you need another drink... try to anticipate it.

If there just so happens to be a slow moment but your still going to be at work for a few hours.. why not go ahead and run over to get another one.
Always wait to fetch one until there are no orders to fill that need you... then you can get a needed drink before cleaning duties. They don't want you to faint on them after all! Remember that drinking/eating is secondary to all the customers doing so, and you'll be just fine!
