So.. Uhhh.. Question.

When do I change from Chick starter crumbles to Layer feed? The Silkies are 4 months and the last time we thought about this subject, I insisted on keeping them on medicated crumble so they could have the two recommended weeks on the ground with the meds against the cocci they would be exposed to there. It's been a while since then

The cochins are 2 months. I can keep them on chick crumbles till they get to laying age, right? I thought I read the chick is better than the grower... more protein.

My moms Aussie friend from the 'Mates Up Over' forum was here for a bit a few months ago... she seemed to think the Bettas we get from Thailand were a bit smaller than the ones commonly sold in Aussie Land.

I finally decided to give up the Gold Laced Roo... He was moms but she'll let him go in exchange for future Lavender Orps I am commanded to hatch for her when we move

But I'm sad to be letting go of the Gold laced one.. he is pretty... but hes been picking on poor little Angel too much. Last night he bopped her on the head with his chin and made her squak.. He is just not happy only having one hen between him and Snuggles.

So I'm going to see how things go with Snuggles.. and if he doesent get better in a month or so (and hopefully being the only roo in his pen) then I'll have to find someplace else for him too
