I know people who've had goldfish: they had to change out the water once every day, it was a helluva big hassle!
I guess they never considered one of those self-filtering tanks, with all the fancy cleaning toold

Don't we have water restrictions going on here?

I know, the floods have been terrible in recent times.

Fish, I reckon, eat their own dooh a lot. I've watched them do it, and wonder if that's a way they get more nutrition...

The snail sounds like a very interesting fellow. Does he get along with Monty?

He's not now, but he was earlier.
It was the funniest thing.
I bet he was like, "why is she staring at me? can't she see I'm playing!"

And he gets on the leaves of the plant and if I go check on them Monty will swim around Leroy, kinda like he's checking him out, and then swim over by me like, "he's on my plant!"

These two are the funniest critters.
They don't seem to bother each other though.
Other than Monty doesn't like to share.

Watching the animals is really amusing at times, I find.
I once discovered a picture on Google, where one bird had its mouth open when landing on the handle of a broomstick where another bird was perched... it was great timing, they looked exactly like they were having a really heated argument
