Ya i read the things on the almond leaves...
I'll see if i can find those test thingos for water hardness etc or something similar, at the local pet shop.. or at jem Aquatics (when my mum finally agrees to take me there
Nope. I've had one before and like I said earlier, I killed it.
I'd just like to stick with my Bettas and snails.
The only thing I don't like about the three gallon one is that it doesn't have a hood.
I'd really like to have a five gallon tank.
Ugh. Guess I'm gonna start looking again.
Well... Don't forget to get a heater adequate for that size tank then
You would need a seperate tank to have babies... plus a special Sponge filter.. and a programable heater to set the temp to 82 or 84... and special fry foods.. live foods like Microworms and Baby Brine shrimp and Vinegar eels...
The 3 gallon could easily be covered with a $2 bit of acrylic the guys at Ace will cut to the right size for free. Our big tanks are covered with that stuff... you wouldn't even notice the difference. We would even send you a peice if you wanted.
But... its still up to you. I'll be nice and promise not to tell you "I told you so" later
