It didn't say it was older... but I meant that the inside is.... woodish.. lived in... looking. A lot of the other places we were looking at are lived-in too.. LOL... But I want a *new* *shiny* *sparkling* place *stomp stomp* *wahhhh*
Like mine, for instance, you put in a capful per 10 gallons for the first treatment, a week later a half cap per 10 gal, 2 weeks later a quarter cap.. and then a quarter cap at every water change.
Yes you can put fish in right away, but be careful not to stretch your tank to its maximum occupancy until the tank has properly cycled. The normal rule is an inch of fish per gallon of water
Water changes should not be *full* water changes if your tank has a filter. You should try to leave at least 25% of the old water in at major tank changes... better if you never do more than 50% but rather do them often... say a 25% water change every other week.. or every week depending how the tank is stocked. It's important not to erradicate the good bacteria completely. If the tank has gotten truly nasty, then you can empty it and clean everything up.. but make sure not to disturb the bio sponge in the filter compartment, because it houses a lot of the good little bacteriums (LOL) and you don't want to have to go through the new-tank cycling process all over again.
Ohh.. I looked at it... they mean "One and only" as a one-of-a-kind product... but it has to be administered regularly like the others. Really, its a living organism, so regularly adding it is the only way to go.. else it doesen't do much good.
