I also have filter media things... If you want.. if you can figure out how to use it.. you might be able to stick some of the filter media in your undergravel filter somehow... its got to go in something.. like a media bag or a cofee filter.. you could try wrapping some up in a coffee filter??

I dunno if it would work.. but if you could make it work it would give you cleaner water... the one I got has the regular carbon and these crystals that absorb ammonia... so Monty would like.

I also have some Peat stuff if you want it.. but it does color the water a bit, up to you if you want it or not.

How are you on Almond leaves?

I don't know anything about that stuff, so you can send it if you'd like.
I'll try to figure it out.

I've only used two leaves. I'm waiting to add another since the one just sank.
Especially because they're sinking easily.

Hmmm.. maybe the filter media will slow the water flow a bit more and keep them up... but you'll have to be creative with it.. Hehehe..

So we are trying to decide who I should try to spawn first.
I don't want Silver or Tontos fins to get damaged so soon after we got them, but their sisters, Shimmer and Glitter, are acting very ready to spawn.. in my tank with Firefly there for them to see.. so I was thinking of making a combination of Firefly and one of those girls. We're trying to pick which would be a better color combination... think color...
