I would go with atleast 4 gallons, because with rocks it has less water in it

Oh, and to answer the question on whether it gets hot in Indiana.
Yes. It's been in the 90's all week. Really humid too.

well the more room there is, the more real or fake plants u can have in there... and you can split a 10 gallon in half and have 2 fish

The one i am testing the heater in is a 3.5Gallon tank.

I was wanting another fish eventually, so that's why we were looking at a ten gallon.
We found one at another store that we liked, but it's not on their online site.
His friend has the exact same one and loves it.

Oh I don't remember. Lol.

Sorry It's taking me forever to respond. I'm having to plan some things with this horse show that I'm going to on Saturday.
So I'm looking up everything and letting people know.

10 gallons would work if you wanted to fill the tank up with tankmates like tetras or something
cool.png

If you got another Betta .... you would see how empty the tank looks.. and need two more to fill it up

Ohh and I just had an idear looking at what Lellie said about your tank Cupcake.... If you really dont want the other one... perhaps you could list it for sale.. really upsell it.. and sell it for about 60% of what the same one would be new
