I've had 3 before aswell

sadly 2 died badly

one got little white growths on it which i did attempt to treat but it was too late. the next one had a fit and jumped out of its tank when i got home i found a very hard very dead fish on the floor.. and idk what happened to the 3rd it just died

My first betta died of old age. [boy]... my second ... well he jumped out of his tank 3 times but I think he died of old age.... my third one was with the second one and she was a girl. He killed her.

I am doing things kinda backwards LOL got a temp tank and im getting Neon tetras till i save for my tank i want.. then im getting the betta and puting neons in with it LOL

Wow sounds like fun!! I think I will buy a bigger tank and get a boy and girl betta and see how that works out... haha

they should be kept seperate unless they are spawining.. otherwise a fight will break out..

It's better if u want something in the tank with the male.. to get some neon tetra's..​
