I dunno about you.....you have lost more stuff down the back of that thing than I have lost in a lifetime of moving house

Pretty Tetras Nicola! Finally you have something to look at (that moves) in that tank. I have a skull type head in my tank...it has java moss growing on top so it looks like hair

My girl betta loves to swim in and out of the eyes sockets and sometimes she just rests on the edge of the eye....kinda freaky looking sometimes

a skull in my tank with fishes resting in it would freak me out LOL The cat hasnt noticed them yet... heheheh. only 2 are being brave enough to explore the tank the other 3 are hiding behind of the fake plants

Yepppers... I even have a bottle of that stuff.. its my 3rd bottle... but I decided I dont like it as much as I thought I did. The only bad thing about it.. is it has a little salt in there. All well and good.. and alot of Betta people add tiny amounts of salt to their water themselves.... except that Bettas are very intolerant of more than a touch of salt

So I used the Betta Spa as directed at water changes and stuff. But salt hardens the water... as does the calcium in the Spa... and despite the Almond leaf in the Betta Spa that acts as a softener.. I was still getting a little hard water build-up on my filter cord and stuff

And... of course

hard water curls the ends of Betta fins

So I think that stuff interfered with Firefly & Tinkerbells recovery from their mutual fin nibbling

The Almond Leak in it is good however.. so now I just have my own leaves

yeah when i read salt and calcium i was like Wahhhhhh?????????????? Cause calcium builds up on things

and its a pain to get off!

Hmmmmmmm *thinks* I think my plan of attack to get all my fish stuff would be to get it slowly.. not all in one big bunch.. Like get the tank and one thing with it first.. then save up for the heater and the cleaner pump.... Then the pebbles and the algae cleaner.. and then the one and only thing..
