Hi Folks,

I'm new in that I just registered, but I've been hanging around for years absorbing your collective wisdom. You've gotten me off to a good start and my flock is doing well! I never registered before because I always found answers to my questions by searching the forums, and, well, I guess I just never got around to it. But now I have a minor situation . . .

I have a beautiful Silver Spangled Hamburg rooster that needs a good home. I raise Orpingtons and the Hamburg isn't fitting in well with them and I don't have anywhere to house him separately. I think he would be much happier with a more accepting group of chickens and I'd like to give him away to a good home. He is 10 months old and matured since I took this picture. His tail feathers have doubled in length - they are spectacular. I am in Southern Indiana.

My question is: where is the best place in the forum to post this? Would this go in the "for sale" section (I don't want any money for him)?

Where are you located at in Southern Indiana?

And, your pic isn't showing up....

Also, there is a section called "chickens 8 weeks and older for sale" you should probably post him there even though you just want him to go to a good home.
