I'd like everyone to tell me what's the longest time they've waited between their first egg pipping and their last chick hatching, for a batch of eggs that's all the same breed. I'm just wondering what's the longest hatch anyone's had. Only for eggs that are all the same breed though! Like, if your Silkies start pipping on day 19 but your Orps hold out till day 23 that doesn't count. I'm wanting info about eggs all of the same breed and all set at the same time, please. Oh, and please tell me how many eggs were in your hatch too.

And, once most of your eggs have hatched, how long do you wait to see if the left overs are going to do anything? If you have 18 chicks pop out on day 20 and two eggs still doing nothing on day 23, what is the likelihood of their hatching out at all? Slim? Fair? 50/50?
