Started crowing last week! Breeding back to his mother this spring. And her back to his father as well so I can try to get more pullets. I should have a nice set of yokies this year! As soon as I start hatching And have a good bunch I will post what will be available.
I'm so proud of my creation! I know it has been done before many times but the joy of watching something you helped create grow into such a beautiful creature is worth all the time and effort! I hope to continue this line for some years to come!

He is RS Yoko over my Sumatra. No game in there yet.... Looking for a good line to throw in there.... That and DW dosent want any more Cocks in the yard till we move.... I honestly have no idear on what I want to end up with... But yea really just makin some nice juicy eye candy for myself... I want to keep as many of the Sumatra traits as possible, like yellow soles and dark skin. I would like to add in shamo one day to add size and tail spread. But that may be a ways away.
HMMM sumatras have yellow soles because they have yellow skin. But crossing them with yokos will keep the yellow soles. I'll be watching to see the pretty eye candy.
Yea I have hought about adding silkie into the mix for the dark skin but I don't want to deal with the feathered legs and extra toes.... I found some melanistic cubalaya that I wanted to get but that didnt happen. Just going to work with what I have For now and after I'm done with school I can focus more time to my projects.
