Hello!
1) I’ve had chickens for over two decades, since my first 4-H project with Rhode Island Reds.
2) I now have around 50 chickens.
3) Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rock, Dominique, Blue and Black Copper Marans, and Easter Eggers.
4) I love watching my chickens. And we are a large family that goes through a lot of eggs!
5) I am a SAHM, I homeschool my children, and I love to garden, cook, sew, and have friends over for coffee or a meal.
6) In addition to chickens, we raise beef cattle and dairy goats, have two barn cats, and a good dog.
7) I’ve read through threads from Google searches for the past ten years, but now I’ve got some questions I don’t see in searches, so I figured it was time to join.

minus the home schooling. But only because ive finally got the majority of the kids graduated and out.... 3 down 2 to go!
