Look: another egg color question

If I breed My Cuckoo Maran Rooster to My Dominique Hen will I still get Dark Eggs? I figure they won't be as dark as the Maran's , but will they be darker than a dominique's?

Her female offspring will probably lay a darker brown egg- but it's no guarantee.
