Congrats! My two comets began laying last week at 19 & 20 weeks. They have all been pullet size except for one HUGE one we got yesterday. Can't wait to crack it open. They have also been VERY dependable layers already...not missing a day since the first one was laid.

They are 17 weeks old. Not consistant though and the other day one layed an egg without a shell. I have to have a talk with her about slacking on the job.

You are right though, I find myself running out all the time to find another surprise! Sooo much fun!
...and then there is my little silkie that turned out to be a rooster. How I love to hear him crow!!! So cute.
