i hope this one goat can feed all of them. first quads we have ever had. ya'll pray for them one is a little weak. We been feeding him a little to help mom some.

they are mini. the buck is a 3 way cross part mongolian and pygmy and fainting. mother is a 2 way cross part pygmy and Nigerian dwarf. we wanted small black and white goats the male is about 23 inches tall and my females are about 19 to 22 inches tall. this mama looked like she was carring a big load on her butt for the last month. she ran away yeasterday about 1/2 mile from home and we had to go get her. i think she was tring to find a place to have these babies.

Looks like one got more than it's share of the nutrient in utero! S/he is so much bigger than the other three! I knew goats often had twins but how rare is quads?

I am totally goat stupid.

the one to the far right is a female. the next one is a big old boy. the next is smaller boy and the next is the weak runt boy. i don't need all these boys but i will take and love everyone of them. i hope the runt picks up some energy in the next day or so. i know we have had triplets befroe but never quads. how know in new to this. i have olny been messing with them for 6 years. we had 22 goats one time and sold all of them and just started over last year.

i hope all my eggs hatch this coming weekend too. i will have a bunch of babies around here then. a girlfriend of my wife just brought us 6 baby RIR chicks i think. plus if the 10 eggs i got in the bator hatch i will be ahappy camper.
