I seem to be getting those from my blue silkie eggs more often then from the red silkie eggs. Seems like this time was 25% bad in the bator, and already a broody kicked out 1/10 blue silkie eggs.

Lol, oh gosh I hope you were joking with your answer rancher hicks hhahaha. I was just kidding about the heaven deal, and silkies were around back in the 15th century when Marco polo wrote about a fur like chicken in his travels. I'm pretty sure he didn't dock his boat in Arizona! And that's a very interesting statement, because this was a blue chick, splash/black bred, I wonder what the significance is if any at all.
