"GEEEZZ what a big cat....hope it's really dead and doesn't come back to life while the guy is holding it up!"
Poor cat - beautiful animal - I think I would pee my pants if I saw one in my yard!
Actually the first cat id kind of small for a mountain lion Probably 80-90# The average is 120 here and further north like British Columbia they get to over 200#.
The second cat is a hoax no way they get that big!!! That's bigger than an african lion and they are over 500#.
first cat was 114 lbs the people that hit stopped and took pictures of it as well as called the game warden(DNR) DNR took the cat these picts are from teh next morning
I have pet a "pet" cougar that was from nose to tip of the tail was just short of 8 feet long he was a big big cat
Must be the way the photos are taken to make them look very large. Bone and Crockett score has some to record largest in the 200lb range..
here's the supposedly real story on the first 200 -220 lb cat i pictured on page 4 http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/mountainlion2007.asp
200 lb cougar shot at Bragg creek (Baker County) (below)
I would NOT be thrilled to know game wardens released those to control deer. That seems preposterous to me. Think, children and pets.... good grief. Why not just increase limits for deer hunters?
Ok, I am going to go a little off topic, but it must be said...those are some beautiful dogs.
