A 40 foot tree is some serious business! I was complaining about the run at work yesterday and mostly I got 'well it least it was just for your chickens, no biggie', they just dont get it!

Sorry you are goign thru this as well.. My run finally collapsed last night.. Everyday I would see it getting a lil closer the ground.. Oh welll My girls dont come out of the coop anymore then they have too.(sissies) So i'll wauit til it melts and build it bigger and stronger...

Same thing happened to both of my coops. I never even imagined that they would cave in like that. It snapped my boards right into. Of course I was sick that day and my husband comes running in yelling we have a major problem. So, I suit up and had to do a temporary fix on it. I knew I should have put stabilizing boards in the middle.

I am glad none of your birds were injured. I guess I thought the snow would go right through the netting.
