Look what hatched Tuesday (pics)

Dottie's eggs hatched on Tuesday and she has 8 little Cochins to keep up with. 8 out of 12 is pretty good for me. 1 had hatched but didn't make it and 3 didn't even pip. I candled those and they looked fully formed but just didn't hatched. Oh well, She has 8 to keep her busy. It looks like 2 white, 2 gold laced and 4 buff. I put a light over the food area as they didn't want to come out from under Mom to eat and drink with it being in the upper 50's.

((i will NOT get more chicks, i do not NEED more chicks, i have my hands FULL with my chicks, we do not have ROOM for more chicks... i do not WANT a roo so that my lil pullets can have chicks someday, i do not want to HEAR the crowing, i do not want to WORRY about broody hens/not broody hens.... no no no no... i'm not sure if i'm convincing myself yet.... i love my peeps!))
