Look what I found in the nest box today (pics)

Today I found the smallest egg my girls have ever laid. It is green so it had to have been laid by one of my EEs, I think it was Big Blue since she was hanging around the nest boxes a lot today but I could be wrong lol here it is

Here you can see how small it is compared to one of my girls regular egg

I know what you mean. I love my EEs best.
My 3 EE pullets just started last month so now I'm getting a fun array of egg colors.(see avatar)

No both my EEs are well seasoned but if it was Big Blue I wouldn't be surprised b/c she is actually getting really really old and when a hen gets well past her prime she can start to lay some pretty funky eggs... I can still remember when my Big Blue laid her first egg, seems just like yesterday... lol
