Then you'll just have to find a convincing explanation as to why $69 birds ended up on your doorstep
Please.... this is the first objective everytime, and it is done.

It is a running joke here. She wants kids - I deliver one of those every few years and clears me for another 50 chickens

Trade, accepted.

Plus, this one was really cool and instagram worthy, so she was digging it.

Tell her since she likes the indios, they count as half a chicken. And for every Instagram photo uploaded one chicken gets added to the 50 chicken per human child rule. If you ask me, this is a very fair deal😌

*looks at website, does math*

They are beautiful birds!!!

They definitely are! Their size, their feathers, their posture, their behavior, their mothering instincts, their development rate, everything about them is so different and unique! I love them so much. I could talk about them all day. They are unlike anything I've ever raised before, and I've been raising chicks for seven years! They are truly one of a kind

I do, but they'd hate me in February, and I'd just mutt them out with someone fatter and fluffier, so I shouldn't.
I do wonder if a tall skinny 10lb roo and a short fat 8lb hen would make a tall fat 14lber with turkey legs, though. 😉

They're not too fussy about the weather, I put some tarps around them just so they won't get the cold air blown directly on them all day. Unless your temps get into the -10 (°C) or something. As for what they'd look like, these guys have very strong genes, so most times they simply are a little shorter, a little fatter, and a higher tail carriage
