Look what I got today...

What is this?? My girls have been laying great lately, I was very surprised to see this tiny egg in their nesting box this morning.

I have all standard size girls, it must have been one of my BR-they lay my darkest egss.

It is refered to as a "fart egg". Just one of those things that happens. I have a collection of about half a dozen. I just let them sit and they dry out. No need to blow them out.

The "fart egg" are funny to get! I've only gotten 2 in the last 2 years. I cracked the last one open and found a teeny, tiny yolk inside!

LOL I'd like to save it, it's so cute! And such a nice color too. After I posted this, I read about the "fart" eggs. Huh, never knew of such a thing.
