LOOK WHAT I JUST FOUND - UPDATE

I really hope that they are white rocks. they were extremely easy to catch, seem gentle/mellow. they are sleeping in the box I put them in, now I gotta make a cage or something, as I have a bunny in my baby chicken hutch at this time, and I do not want to put them in the pen with the other chickens-gotta wait ya know. And I don't want to just let them run around in my yard cuz one, the other chickens are already running around in my yard, as usual, and two, I don't want them to run off!!

cornish x, those are the ones that do not live long right? And if they are leghorn or white rock, you can keep them as pets, am I right?

Aw, how sad

Thank You for stopping for them.

i think its a cornish x i had one of these i named peep, it was tweets adopted baby i got it for her because she was so depressed. Which was funny because it grew so quickly that when it tried to crawl under her she'd fall, over! lol but unfortunately she was killed in the night along with another bird of mine.

So here is where they are going to sleep tonite. And boy were they thirsty! Maybe I should try and find who they belong too?

Those don't look like my white rocks. They don't have bald spots and even though they are "wider", they aren't that round. I would guess cornish X.

I see chickens over by this particular road all of the time. My daughters keep begging me to put them in the van. Unfortunately, it's near a guy who has lots of chickens and I know they belong to him and he just free ranges them. I'm not sure I'd ever feel comfortable taking chickens off of the road since they could belong to someone nearby.

Unless it was like obvious somoeone had thrown them out in a majorly city area. (The ones I'm talking about above are right next to a 5 lane highway.

I'm so sad, I figured when I found them they are meat birds, but I really wanted them to not be. So, either I have to find the owner, or just eat them in a few weeks. :|
