I asked my husband to get me chicks one year, he drove all over E WA to fine them, no one had them. He did find a place that had ducks. He bought one and brought it home to me. I pretended he bought it for my daughter and she was delighted. Currently I have a ma chicken on 2 duck eggs.

If that's true for these ones, then my dad got lucky! The lady could have sold him males since my dad knows nothing about the breed.

I had to milk some ducks out of my birthday, but I did manage to make room for them. My dad says no to chickens daily though... The addiction is real
