Went to feed the chickens last night, and look what my son found!!!

It's our first egg! I'm thinking it was Lola who laid it, since it's brownish, and she's a Brahama (I think)

Thats very eggciting! Congrats! I still get proud evrytime I bring eggs in. Mine have been laying for over a month now!

I just never thought it would happen, LOL. Now I find myself wanting to go check every couple of hours to see if I have another one, LOL!

I was going to cook it up last night.. but I just kept looking at it, and thinking.. "I can't eat thi.. not the first egg!" So my son asked if he could eat it with his dinner tonight (Wednesday night is breakfast for dinner night at our house)

We got another egg this morning.. still nice and warm from being laid! We have 3 girls.. wondering how I can tell who is doing the laying?
