look what one of my chickens laid! wow!

wow , what a egg! this is the biggest egg they have laid. i had to put a measuring tape by it so everyone could see. and i wanted to see exactly how long it was for myself. well editing it in photobuckt somehow cut off part of the pic. it is a little over 3 inches long!

10lbs 13 oz
10lbs 5oz
9lbs 9oz-this one was 4 weeks
premature!

I think some grapes or strawberry tops are in order for the whole hen house...either they laid it or had to listen to the carrying on of the one laying it!
