Well...advice is only as good as it's source. I wouldn't believe a word a crazy lady said. lol

I have barn owls & a barn owl nest on my property. Helps keep the rat population down, have never lost a chicken to one. Your owl is probably cleaning up all the rodents & little critters around your place. They are beneficial as long as you have good chicken housing.

LOL!!!! Yeah she was a lil cuckoo. Your new owl friend scares me! Peeping throught the window... name him TOM!

Beautiful!! Barred Owl. Listen when it is quite at night you will hear him/her. This is the true "hoot owl" Hoot Hoot Hoot Hoooooooooooo. Owls are said to be messengers from loved ones past. They see through the darkness(falsehoods and lies) and are able to see truth.
