I would think you would have better luck with a goose or a duck. They would need more moisture than a hen would provide. Very interesting. Hope they hatch.
Oh, I would mist them at least once a day, like you do duck eggs.

I have hatched, duck, geese, guinea, pheasant, quail, peafowl and turkey eggs under some of my hens, I have never had any problems at all, in fact they have done a better job then I do with the bator.
 
They only broody hen I have right now is my tiny 8 ounce mottled bantam cochin hen. I kicked her out of the nesting box and put something in front of it but she has just plopped herself down in the middle of the coop and continued to brood.

She couldn't even cover up 1 egg if she tried...
