I hope so. If we don't get him doing well and back on his mom (and he survivies) he may give him to me, but honestly w/ him being a bull I'm hoping we can get him back w/ his mom. Now if he was a heifer I'd be secretly hoping he'd (she'd) end up being mine!

I don't know ANYTHING about cows. I mean - I don't know even a little bit. Zippo. Nada. Zilch...except that one time I went to the State Fair, and I learned that even the cleanest cows - I mean sparkling clean - still smelled pretty bad.

But if you "geld" them nice and early - can't they make a nice pet? I don't mean a back-yard, dog-run kind of pet, but something friendly that might come up to you for a scratch, a treat, and a pat on the (truck size) head?

That calf is just SO cute! He just looks like he wants to be held in your arms (even if he already ways as much as a small horse!).

Great. Now I can't eat steak! Look at that wittle nose!
