I'm going to finally start my dream of having egg laying ducks!

I'm so excited!! I decided to start looking now because I finally have a yard to keep them, and my kiddos would be overjoyed to get some baby ducks around Easter. I have done tons of research and am looking for 2 females (for eggs of course) preferably a Cayuga and especially a Welsh Harlequin.
The local feed stores sell ducks but they are not sexed (and the Harlequin is pretty rare?), and it appears that buying from online hatcheries is difficult due to the small size of my order.

Anyone have advice for me?

Also I'm open to any advice on raising and caring for the duckies as I'm a first timer. I did get the story's guide to ducks and it looks like it will be my ducky "bible."
TIA!
BTW I live in western washington if that info helps.

Hello neighbor!
How far are you willing to look? I know there's some sort of livestock sales/swaps meetup happening regularly now...I think within 2 hours to the south? maybe in Chehalis or a town with a similar name. Nothing formal, people just bring what they have to offer, maybe sell out of a stand, maybe out of their cars? Someone advertised it in the meetups section.
If you don't have any luck before then, start going to the farmers' markets when they start up. Ask the people selling duck eggs whether they have what you're looking for, or some info on getting your own ducks. Or maybe contact the local 4-H?

Thank you all! I was able to get an order in with the CENEX here, delivery of April 19th! Not as soon as I'd hoped, but hey, I'll take it...I get my ducks finally!
