Looking for a Barred Rock Rooster in MI

Greetings all!

I have one BR hen who is going on her second year with me and my family. She is a very lucky hen as she is the last one out of 25 I started with almost two years ago. I had a mink and raccoon problem that ended up wiping out my entire group except for ole Berta who has been alone the entire winter and now the summer.

I am looking for a rooster who can do the deed so Berta can raise some babies and won't be so lonely. A Barred Rock Rooster would be great, but any rooster would do if he was close to the Sandusky area of Michigan.

I don't know how far you are willing to travel, but I have 2 beautiful EE roos. I also have a BR cross roo, but he is crippled, and I don't know if he can "do the deed". Here are some pics. of them----I am about 4 hours from you.

Thanks, I'll keep you in mind. Usually there is a lot of people around here trying to get rid of roosters, of course that is when I don't need one........

are you going to let her hatch the eggs or are you using an incubator?
