WOW! Look at all of those answers!

That is exactly what they looked like!

I looked up the hamburg's here: http://www.thebigwranch.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=88&Itemid=14

and
they look almost exactly like that, except... the combs do not look quite as long, but they do look exactly like the younger ones, and I'm not sure on their age I'm guessing '09 hatch as they look young.

Then...
Upon seeing the leghorn photos above, I notices a green tint in the black, these guys have that green/blue tint in their black, which may be on the hamburg's as well, just not seen in the photos.

Hmmm... I haven't found a picture of the leghorn's with the peacomb. So far I'd say they are hamburg's from the photo's I've looked through so far, simply because they seem more polka dotted than the leghorns, but some are a little darker than others.

I am thinking about getting the contact info for the people who brought them in to see if they can tell me anymore, since there was 7 per box I would assume that they probably knew what they were, and not a random throw together. Hopefully we'll start seeing some long tail feathers soon, or other roo behavior soon, or will be able find a roo for them!

I was just so excited when I saw them and knew I had to have them, although I was eye-ing some mille fleur leghorns as well. It's amazing I didn't come back with a truck full!

Thank you guys so much for helping, I should have the camera back tomorrow to get photos up!

Me again...

Upon looking at the posted photos it appears to me that the leghorns have yellow leg and the hamburgs a black/grey leg, so I went out and checked the legs and they are a dark grey leg.

Helpful?

You guys are awesome, I didn't expect so much help getting these guys figured out so quickly!

ETA: And I'm sorry if I confused anyone ( else, I know I've gotten a couple already, lol ) , I keep saying pea comb, but maybe it's a rose comb... I know.. I'm useless!
