I am currently looking for a new coop+run for my show bantams, and right now I have the smaller producers pride coop. It sucks, to say the least. The hardware cloth is coming off, the door broke and it is now zip tied together. What would you say are some quality coops for under $1100 (Preferably cheaper than that)? I saw these coops and was wondering if any one had good experiences or bad experiences with them: https://www.chickencoopcompany.com/products/orpington-lodge-chicken-coop-6-12-chickens

Get yourself a wooden shed or playhouse and convert it. You may even find one "Free - You Move It," or ask around with neighbors and friends whose kids have outgrown theirs. Both sheds and coops are easy to convert. If you can get a playhouse with a swing set attached, all the better. With a couple of strips of roofing/shed siding and some hardware cloth, you'll have a good-sized, covered run!
