looking for a duck diaper

So, my daughter brought home a duck, I'm sure it's an indian runner, very friendly and just dam cute. Now I'm the mommy. Where can I find a harness and diaper? Looks like this duck has stole my heart, just need to deal with the poo....lol

how often do you have to replace the diaper? do you throw the diaper away or is it one of those one's that you wash? i've been debating if i should buy one or not. my duck's name is eugene....it's a she...we had no idea it was a she haha! she's a sweetheart.​

Eugene is beautiful! As far as diapers go, there are two main components: the diaper and the harness that holds the diaper. Some diaper makers make a washable diaper for you to take out and wash. At the moment I use disposable baby diapers that I cut to fit the harness. The skirts and bows on the harnesses I posted above snap on for decoration. The main part though is the harness. It keeps the diaper on. Without one I would be Spotboting the house all day! Most important thing to remember is that the diaper needs to be changed often (every hour or two) and that the shouldn't wear the diaper/harness at night. It can cause the feathers on their bottom area to fall out from friction as well as could cause Feather Rot. Also, it's essential that ducks get baths after the diaper comes off. Soleil gets baths at night and also during most days.

Oh I forgot to mention- harnesses are easy to wash! Just run the through the washing machine on delicate and hang them to dry

My duck (daffy) has a pond to swim in during the day. But won't let me get within a few feet of IT (not sure of sex yet). But is just a baby, and looks likes we are bonded. I just wonder if I should get a diaper now or wait till it's grown. I've been washing towels like crazy...lol
