I am a softie for cute kid with chicken pics..soo if it helps...
I am about an hour from you. I could thin out three very nice, nice color, nice crests buff Silkies that are 13 weeks(which are hard to sex as you know but nothing screams Roo yet)(15.00 ea) and a Cuckoo Marans that is 10 weeks from a nice dark egg(10.00). I have a Black Cochin Frizzle you can just have and a black Cochin hen($5.00) (but I want her to go with a Lav Cochin Roo if maybe you have chicken friends who like Roos)
I know there are folks up that way with Silkies, so it shouldnt be that hard to find-good luck!
