Looking for a low minimum hatchery for silkies

I am having a silkie obsession and would love to have a few. Seems like all the hatcheries want you to order tons or contrarily don't have any available. Anyone have suggestions?
 
Do you have an incubator to hatch your own? or maybe you can buy some chicks/eggs from someone on here that may be close to you.. good luck!
 
I actually was getting that desperate and started looking at the incubator,..pricey though for a hopeful one time shot :-)
 
thats true, but, if you buy 1 incubator, buy the eggs you are looking for, & hand turn them, it wont be that bad. Heck i would get the silky eggs, then buy some really cheap eggs to fill it the rest of the way, then sell whatever hatches that you dont want.. can make a little money back that way.. but, like i said, you can see if you can find someone on here to ship you some chicks.. i wish you luck, it sucks wanting a certain breed but not being able to find what you NEED!lol:)
 
It's terrible, and amazing too see how addictive having chicks can be. I thought it was cute when I heard they were like potato chips, you just can't have one...now I know the reality of it. I keep telling myself when there is a post about a breed I haven't seen,..just back away from the computer :-)
 
HAHA you stole my signature! I want silkies bad to right now.We have two white pair and our hen hasn't laid yet so no peeps from them

I'm buying eggs from JennLynn she has awesome looking silkies!
 
You know it's terrible I think all these manufacturers and hatcheries should start paying us for talking eachother into purchases :-) but truth be known we would all probably prefer store credits .....
 
ive got 3 silky rooster and 2 hens , got them over a month ago and theys till havnt started laying yet, dunno why though..i have white, greyish blue and im not sure what the other would be, its white but has some brown and blue in it...dunno..
